What Spirit Has Never Once Brought Up In Any Reading I Have Ever Given
Share
I have been doing readings for three years now. Dozens of them. People from all over the world, all different backgrounds, all different kinds of loss. And in all of that time, across all of those connections, there are things that spirit has simply never brought up.
Not once.
And I think that is worth talking about. Because what spirit chooses not to say tells you just as much as what it does.
Spirit Has Never Once Told Someone Their Grief Is Too Much.
Not once. Not in any reading I have ever given has a loved one come through and said — you have grieved long enough. It has been too long. You need to stop now. That is entirely a human idea, usually said by people who are uncomfortable sitting with someone else’s pain. Spirit does not operate on our timelines. It does not judge how long the love stays or how loudly the loss still hurts. Every single time I have connected with someone who was worried they were grieving wrong, or that the depth of their pain was somehow abnormal, the person coming through has met that with nothing but warmth and understanding. Never impatience. Never frustration. Never anything that sounded like enough now.
Spirit Has Never Once Come Through Angry.
This one surprises people the most. People come to readings braced. Especially if the relationship was complicated. Especially if there were things left unsaid, arguments unresolved, difficult endings. I have given readings for people who had genuinely painful, complicated relationships with the person who passed — and without exception, the energy that comes through is one of love, clarity and peace. Not because the difficult things did not happen. But because something shifts in the understanding when you leave this world. The small things fall away. What remains is the love that was underneath all of it. 💜
Spirit has also never come through and told someone they should feel guilty. I want to say that clearly, because guilt is one of the heaviest things people carry in grief — the I should have called more, I should have said it, I should have been there. And it is never, ever confirmed from the other side. Not once.
Spirit Has Never Brought Up Religion.
In three years I have not had a single loved one come through and say — tell them to go to church, tell them to pray, tell them my religion was the right one. Not once. What comes through is love. Connection. Recognition. The very specific, personal, irreplaceable bond between two people. Whatever is on the other side, it does not appear to be divided by the beliefs we held here. That is my experience, and only my experience — I am not here to tell anyone what to believe. But I will tell you what I have and have not encountered, and religion as a dividing line has simply never been part of it.
Spirit Has Never Once Been In A Hurry.
There is no urgency on the other side. No panic, no rushing, no sense that time is running out. If anything the opposite — there is a patience and a stillness that I find genuinely extraordinary compared to the frantic energy of everyday life here. They are not worried. They are not stressed. They are simply there, present, and willing to wait for the right moment.
What Spirit Does Bring Up, Every Single Time.
The small things. The specific things. The things that only the two of you would know. A nickname. A habit. A running joke. The way someone took their tea. A word they always used. A memory that was private and particular to that relationship and no one else’s.
Not the big dramatic things you might expect. The ordinary things. The ones that say — I was there. I knew you. I still do.
That is what comes through. Every time. 💜
