Why I Will Always Tell You If I Have Nothing — And Why That Matters To Me
Share
I want to talk about something that I think is really important. Something that sits at the heart of how I work and why I work the way I do. And something that I think every single person considering a reading deserves to know before they book one.
If I have nothing for you, I will tell you.
Why I Feel The Need To Say This
Because not every medium does. And I say that not to put anyone down — I genuinely do not believe it is always intentional. Reading for someone who is grieving is an emotionally charged space. The pressure to give someone something, anything, when they are sitting in front of you missing someone they love is real. And I think sometimes, without even realising it, that pressure can lead to filling silence with things that are not really there. Vague statements. Things that could apply to almost anyone. Meaning made from uncertainty.
I also want to be honest — there are people in this space who do it knowingly. Who tell grieving people what they want to hear, who create a sense of dependency, who keep people coming back again and again because they know how desperate that grief can be. That is something I feel very strongly about. Because the people in those chairs are vulnerable. They deserve the truth. Not a performance. 💜
How I Work — And Why
I do not offer subscriptions. I do not encourage people to book with me regularly. I believe in reading someone once — and if they feel they want to come back, I would say once a year at most. Not because I do not want to hear from people, but because I genuinely believe that spirit sets things up perfectly. You get what you need, when you need it. If there is a message for you right now, it will come through. If there is not, that means something too.
I am not here to create a reliance on readings. I am here to deliver messages. And then I want you to go away and live your life, carry what came through, and trust that if you ever need it again the right moment will present itself.
What Happens If There Is Nothing
Some people assume that because I am a medium, I should be able to connect with anyone, any time, on demand. And I completely understand why people think that. But it is not how it works — not for me, and not honestly for any medium working with integrity.
Spirit is not a tap I can turn on whenever I choose. Sometimes the connection is strong and the evidence is clear and specific in ways that leave no room for doubt. And sometimes — it is just not there in the way it needs to be to give you something real and meaningful.
When that happens, I stop. I tell you. And if you have already paid me, I will give you a full refund. No questions, no awkwardness, no trying a bit longer to justify the payment. If I cannot give you something I genuinely believe in, I will not take your money for it. That is just not something I am willing to do.
Why This Actually Gives Everything Else More Weight
When I do give you something — a name, a detail, something so specific it stops you in your tracks — you can trust it. Because you know I am not guessing. You know I am not filling space. You know that if I am telling you something, it is because it came through clearly enough for me to be confident in it.
Honesty is not a limitation of what I do. It is the foundation of it.
And If You Do Not Get What You Hoped For
Please hear this. If a reading does not give you what you were hoping for on a particular day, it does not mean your loved one is not there. It does not mean they do not want to reach you. It does not mean you are not thought of or loved or remembered on the other side.
It simply means that on that day, in that moment, the conditions were not right for something meaningful to come through clearly. Spirit works in its own time and in its own way. That is not a failure. It is just the truth of how this works. And if that day comes, I would rather tell you that honestly than pretend otherwise.
You deserve truth. Your loved ones deserve to be represented properly. And I am only ever willing to give you one without the other. 💜
