The Accidental Medium: This Wasn't In The Books — And I Still Can't Quite Believe I Wrote It

I need to be honest with you from the very first line, because that's kind of my whole thing.

I never expected to write a book.

I'm not academic. I'm not someone who sat in English lessons dreaming of becoming an author. Writing a book was never on my list, never on my radar, and frankly — if you'd told me five years ago that I'd be here, doing this, I'd have laughed in your face and gone back to whatever ordinary thing I was doing at the time.

And yet. Here we are.

The Accidental Medium: This Wasn't In The Books is real, it's happening, and you can pre-order your paperback copy right now for just £13.00.

Publication date: 13th August 2026.

I'll be dispatching copies on the 13th, which means some of you could have it in your hands as early as the 15th. I cannot tell you how surreal that sentence is to type.

This book is the true story of what happened when spirit decided I'd waited long enough. Three years of the unexpected — messages in club toilets and Wetherspoons beer gardens, a clifftop in Turkey, a Martello Tower at midnight, development circles, paranormal investigations, and a pond that confirmed something I could never have known.

But more than that, it's about what mediumship actually is. Not the TV version. Not the version people argue about online. The real one. The one that shows up uninvited in the most ordinary moments of an ordinary life.

I'm not here to make you believe anything. I never have been. I'm just here to tell you exactly what I know, exactly how I know it, and exactly what it's cost me — and given me — to live this way.

Honest. Funny. Heartbreaking. Completely true.

I still can't believe I wrote a book. But I'm so glad I did.

With love,
Jenna 💜
