Landguard Fort Ghost Investigation: Meeting Gordon

Me and Dean went to Landguard Fort in Felixstowe for a spirit investigation with Ghost Hunt UK, and this one meant more to me than most.

Felixstowe is such a special place to me. Family lived there my whole life, and my Nan moved there in her later years. Me and my Nan would regularly go down to the docks and watch the boats come in, then have a walk round the nature area. Landguard Fort always stood out to me though, long before I was ever a medium. I have been into the paranormal for as long as I can remember and I used to tell my Nan I would love to get in that place and spirit hunt, as I called it back then.

My Nan never believed a word of it by the way. She thought I was absolutely crazy for thinking ghosts existed and she told me so, often. She knows different now though. It was her passing that sparked my mediumship, and she is very much a believer these days.

So to actually walk in there and investigate was an absolute privilege. We picked up quite a bit of evidence that night, but this video is the one that really stands out. It is communication with a spirit called Gordon. He came through on the EMF and the dowsing rods, and the information I was getting was just wow. I never research a location before an investigation. That is a promise I make and I keep it. A few days later I did a Google search of the details I had picked up, and it turns out I am not the first medium or investigator to pick up those exact same things.

Something else happened that night I never expected either. Anyone who knows me knows I am the accidental medium, the spontaneous one, and in true JC style, while we were with one of the Ghost Hunt UK team, his Nan came through with an uncle. Nobody expected me to do a reading that night, least of all me. The team have their own rule that they do not let their own loved ones interfere with an investigation, but as one of our group said, we came for a spirit experience, and that definitely was one. For me it is simple. You get what you need when you need it, and when spirit calls I must answer.

I also have to mention the little group we were put with that night. Genuine lovely souls, and we had a proper few giggles along the way, because spirit want us to have fun while we are here too. I take this job extremely seriously, but I like a laugh and a bit of banter with it.
